The Fruit Farm is a 61 acre farm on the edge of the Cambridgeshire village of Over. Once home to hundreds of apple and plum trees it is now partly given over to pasture but mainly to arable crops. All that remain of the original trees are 2 Bramley apple trees and 6 Victoria plum trees.
Over the next few years, new owners Steve & Sarah Mead plan to re-establish a traditional orchard on the land with the addition of other types of fruit and nut trees. They will also be designing an area of Forest Garden (for a concise explanation of Forest gardening please click here).
